Affirmations to Inspire Academic Confidence
It's winding down to the end of the semester, and I am questioning my abilities. So here is a list, for me and for all, to help us believe that we CAN.
I have worked hard for all that I've learned.
I know I can do this.
Look at how far I've come!
This is all new to me; it's okay to struggle to understand it.
It's okay to ask questions.
I know that if I take the time I can get this.
Asking questions will only help me understand better.
I am so excited to get to learn about all of this!
I might be nervous, but that's okay. It just means that it matters a lot to me.
I am allowed to take time to rest.
Looking back on all the hours I've put into this, I know I can do it.
I may not be perfect, but I'm trying my best and that's commendable.
I know that other people have these questions, too.
The worst that can happen is I fail... and then I get an opportunity to learn from my mistakes!
Pitfalls are there for me to learn from. I don't need to be afraid of them.
Test anxiety is normal, I just need to remember to breathe.
I believe in my inherent ability to grasp these concepts.
I love how connected these subjects are to each other.
I'm rocking this.
That question looks complex - I'll skip it and come back when I'm warmed up.

Others belief in me does not change my ability.
